Lee County IowaThe Lee County Attorney’s Office prosecutes all criminal matters within the county, as well as handles all juvenile delinquencies, juvenile child in need of assistance matters, mental health committals, truancy matters for our school districts, and collects past due fines, court costs, surcharges, room & board fees, and victim restitution through our collections program. In conjunction with collecting victim restitution through our collections program, the County Attorney's Office offers many services to all victims and witnesses in a criminal case. You can find a complete listing of our services offered by our Victim Witness Coordinator. Additionally, the County Attorney’s Office reviews contracts and provides legal advice for Lee County. Furthermore, the County Attorney’s Office provides legal advice to law enforcement 24/7 and 365 days a year.

The County Attorney’s Office does not provide legal counsel to individuals or private groups including, but not limited to the following: dissolution of marriage, wills, trusts, deeds, protection orders, lawsuits, or child custody. Please seek private counsel for any of the above.
